Checking out the latest Bellagio Conservatory display…

Got some steps in today as my husband and I headed down to the Strip for a walk between Bellagio and Venetian. We checked out Bellagio’s most recent Conservatory display celebrating the Year of the Dragon. The designers always do such a great job fleshing out the space, the pink and gold layers draw you in to a new world. After gawking at the dragons, we headed down to the Casino Royale (photo of the drink on the slot machine) because they’re tearing it down this year to make way for the next big thing. Honestly, Casino Royale has been a shadow of its former self, the table games of yesterday are long gone. I’ll always fondly remember playing the $2 craps tables with 100X odds and the 50¢ roulette back in the day but it is different now. One reason to get in one last visit is the drink specials; a bottled beer and a cocktail were $7. I got a couple more cool shots around Venetian and the Forum Shops then back home to the Southwest Valley for playoff football!
